AI Answer Tracker · Early access

See whether AI answers name and cite your business

Arke AEO's AI Answer Tracker asks AI answer engines the questions your customers ask, several times each, set up for Australian searches. It records whether your site is cited, your brand is named or you're missing, and who gets cited instead. Tracking Grok today, with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot rolling out.

Early access. Grok is live. Every other engine is marked Rolling out until it runs.

What you see for every question
  • Cited and named: the answer links to your site and names your brand.
  • Cited only: your site is linked as a source, but your brand isn't named in the text.
  • Named only: your brand is named, but your site isn't cited.
  • Found in sources only: the engine looked at your page while searching but didn't cite it.
  • Absent: neither your site nor your brand appears.

Shown engine by engine, never blended into one headline figure. A 0–100 score sits underneath as a secondary measure.

The problem

AI answers talk about your business. You can't see what they say.

People now ask AI engines who to use, what it costs and who services their area. The answer might name you, a competitor or nobody at all.

Those answers can get the facts wrong, too: an old price, a service you don't offer, a suburb you don't cover. Your analytics won't show any of it, because the answer appears on the engine's page, not yours. Rank tracking won't catch it either. Often the first you hear is when a customer repeats it back to you.

How it works

How the tracker checks each engine

Three steps, repeated on a schedule. Official APIs only, fresh sessions every time, set up for Australian searches.

  1. Your questions

You give the tracker the questions your customers really ask, plus the facts every answer should get right.

  2. Asked, again and again

Each question goes to the engine through its official API, several times in fresh sessions. Every answer, citation and search query is saved. Grok runs today. ChatGPT and Perplexity are rolling out.

  3. Checked against your facts

Each answer is checked against your facts file. A person confirms any mistake before it counts, and results are shown engine by engine.

Features

What every check records

Who gets cited instead

When you're not cited, the tracker records which sites the engine relied on instead, such as competitors, directories and official sources. It also saves the search queries the engine ran, so you can see what it went looking for.

Wrong facts, flagged

You keep a short facts file: your prices, services and service area. Each answer is checked against it. Any mismatch goes to a review queue, and a person confirms it before it counts.

Rolling out

Google and Copilot, from your own consoles

Google AI Overviews and AI Mode figures will come from your Search Console Generative AI report, filtered to Australia. Copilot figures will come from your Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance export. Both will sit beside the tracker's results, never mixed into its score.

Honest by design

The tracker uses official APIs only. It never scrapes AI apps or Google. API answers are a trend signal, not a copy of what one person sees in an app, so each question is sampled several times. We measure whether you're cited. We don't promise it.

The evidence

Every answer kept, so you can check it yourself

Each answer is saved with the date, the engine, the question and the exact text it gave, plus the sources it cited. It's graded against your own facts, and a person confirms every flagged mistake. Results from real tracking will be added here once they're measured and approved.

FAQ

Common questions

Which engines does it check?

Grok is checked today, through xAI's official API. ChatGPT and Perplexity are rolling out, along with Google AI Overviews and AI Mode (from Search Console) and Copilot (from Bing Webmaster Tools). An engine is marked live only once it's running. More on engines

Does it scrape AI apps?

No. It only uses official APIs. It never automates chatgpt.com, grok.com or any other consumer AI app. More on how it collects answers

Can it make sure I'll be cited?

No. The tracker measures whether AI answers name and cite you. It doesn't promise citations or placement. More on what it can and can't do
